Inside Stateroom on a Hawaii Cruise

Categories: Hawaii Cruises

As the different rooms are described throughout the next few posts, please keep in mind that the amenities and types of rooms may vary from cruise line to cruise line. These descriptions are based on typical cruises not a specific Hawaii cruise.

The smallest and probably cheapest room to stay in on a Hawaii cruise is an inside stateroom. Inside state rooms are located on several levels of the ship and can vary in size but all have about the same look and feel. There is no view from an inside stateroom. In fact, they generally feature a mock window and use mirrors to give the illusion of more space.

Many inside staterooms have just enough space to sleep and walk around your bed and a small bathroom. Some have two twin beds or will even have bunk-beds that fold up or into the wall.
If you are looking to save some money or plan on being in your room close to never and inside stateroom is the way to go. One disadvantage to an inside stateroom is that it could be close to the engines, causing extra noise while you try to sleep. Check your ships layout before choosing the room that you want to spend your vacation in.
